Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron

About Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron

Overlooking Manly Boat Harbour on Moreton Bay, about 17 kilometres east of the Brisbane CBD, this yacht club takes weddings from both members and non-members. Ceremonies can be held on a corner of the landscaped Main Lawn beside the marina, so guests stay in one place for the reception. The Girdis Room has marina views and takes up to 200 for a banquet or 300 for cocktails, while the Flags Function Room on level one opens to a balcony and seats 100. The Boardwalk over the marina suits cocktail events for around 80. Styles range from casual morning weddings to black-tie dinners, and guests can stay at the adjoining Manly Marina Cove Motel.
