Who we are
Wedding Places Brisbane is run by a small Brisbane team. We built it because we couldn't find one place that showed real capacities, published prices and direct contact details for venues around Brisbane, without making couples fill in an enquiry form first.
How venues are chosen
A venue is listed if it's in South-East Queensland within reach of Brisbane, hosts weddings, and publishes enough on its own website for a useful page. Venues can't pay to be included. A few venues we looked at are held back until we can confirm their details.
Where the facts come from
Capacities, prices, ceremony options, accommodation and contact details are taken only from the venue's own website. We record which pages we used. If a venue doesn't publish something, the page says so. We don't fill gaps with estimates.
How often we check
Each listing is rechecked at least every six months, and the month it was last checked is shown on the venue page. If you spot something out of date, tell us and we'll fix it as soon as we can.
Money
We take no commission from venues and don't charge couples anything. In future we may offer paid featured spots on the homepage. If we do, they'll be clearly labelled as paid and kept separate from the lists, which will stay in their current order.
