How we list venues

We take no commission

Venues don't pay us when you book, and nobody pays to appear in the lists or the table above. If we ever sell featured spots, they'll be clearly marked as paid.

Facts come from the venue

Every capacity, price and phone number on this site was copied from the venue's own website, with the pages noted in our records. Where a venue doesn't publish something, we say so rather than guess.

Checked every six months

We go back over each listing at least twice a year, and fix reported mistakes as soon as we can. Each venue page shows the month it was last checked.

Common questions

How much does a wedding venue cost in Brisbane?

It depends on the venue and how it charges. Of the 43 venues listed here, 22 publish prices. Where a per-person figure is given, published starting prices run from $99 to $184 per guest. Other venues charge venue hire, a minimum spend or a package price instead, so compare what each figure includes.

Which Brisbane wedding venues have accommodation on site?

20 of the venues listed have somewhere for you or your guests to stay on the property, from city hotels to cabins and homesteads in the hinterland. The accommodation list has them all.

Can we hold the ceremony and reception at the same venue?

Yes, at most of them. 42 of the 43 venues say on their own websites that you can marry on site, so guests don't need to travel between the two.

Where can we have a small wedding in Brisbane?

17 venues publish a space or package for small groups, roughly 40 guests or fewer. They range from a CBD laneway building to a garden in Samford and a rainforest cabin on Mount Glorious. See small and intimate venues.

How do we contact a venue?

Directly. Each venue page lists the phone number, email and website the venue publishes. We don't pass on enquiries, and our contact form is only for messages to us.

Do venues pay to be listed?

No. Venues are chosen for being in the Brisbane area, hosting weddings and publishing enough detail to be useful. Featured spots may be offered later, and if they are, they'll be labelled as paid.
