Kooroomba sits near Mount Alford in the Scenic Rim, surrounded by lavender fields, vines and olive groves. Couples marry in an open-air, architect-designed chapel set among the lavender, with 80 tiffany chairs supplied. The reception follows in the restaurant, whose floor-to-ceiling windows look across the valley, and the terrace can host cocktail-style events. Venue hire gives exclusive use of the estate for the event and covers a coordinator, sound system, banquet tables, linen, wait staff, a bridal room from 10am and a rehearsal the afternoon before. Five twin villas and a honeymoon suite are included for the night before and the wedding night, sleeping 20 guests plus the couple.
